Winston-Salem is a great place to live, work, play and pray . . . for most of us. But we can do better. It needs to be a great place for all of us. We have to make ourselves attractive to new businesses and jobs, but in ways that help our most vulnerable citizens as well. That means affordable housing, good public transportation, and a public safety system that protects all neighborhoods in every ward of the city, treating all people with respect. This is not instead of supporting Arts and Innovation — this is in addition to those things.
Thanks to your overwhelming support in the March primary, I look forward to earning your vote in the general election to represent Winston-Salem’s Southwest Ward on the City Council.
